Our
Uninterrupted
Power
Supply
(UPS)
backs
up your telephone system
in the
event
of a power
cut. This
keeps
your telecommunications
running
during
down time,
thus ensuring
continuity
of service
to your
customers
and minimum
disruption.
A power
surge
can wipe
out your
entire
communications,
leaving
you to
count
the cost
of a claim
to your
insurance
company
for the
cost of
replacing
the equipment
damaged
and the
loss of
business
revenue
through
down time.

UPS

Offers
limited
mains
filtering.
During
normal
operation
it supplies
the
load
directly
from
the
mains.
In the
event
of a
main
failure,
it depends
on a
transfer
switch
to change
over
to the
inverter/
battery.
The
advantage
is that
this
is a
cheap
system.
The
disadvantage
is the
break
in output
whilst
the
switch
transfers.

These
models
still
rely
on a

switch
in the
event
of a

The
advantage
is one
of cost.
The
disadvantage
is the
break
in output
whilst

this
system,
the

or load
is always
supplied

The
disadvantage
is the

Advantages
include
