HiPath Cordless is modularly configured with integrated radio switching modules for the HiPath voice platforms. Base stations can support up to 12 concurrent calls each. HiPath Cordless is simple to maintain and manage. It supports the user-friendly family of Gigaset handsets, with excellent voice quality and an intuitive user interface. Gigasets offer up to 200 hours of standby time and all models offer access to a variety of features including consultation, conference and call forwarding.

The reach of the base stations is up to 50 metres indoors and 300 metres outdoors. They overlap, enabling calls to be conducted without interruption as users move about the campus. In addition HiPath platforms can be networked enabling mobile users to use their Cordless device on remote sites as well as on the home campus. All devices are registered to their home system and all calls are encrypted, providing secure mobile communications.
